Know before you book

A pass is a snapshot—not a warranty.

A Safety Standards Certificate confirms that a vehicle met Ontario's minimum safety standards when it was inspected. It does not guarantee the vehicle's future condition.

The inspection price is set by each inspection centre. If the certificate expires before registration, another inspection and certificate may be required.
